IMT and ten of its start-ups headed to Las Vegas for CES 2020!
IMT, with its incubator network and the ten start-up finalists for the Bercy-IMT Innovation Award, will attend CES 2020 in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10. Come meet us on stand no. 50059!
The 10 start-ups that will be exhibiting on the IMT stand were selected by the prestigious jury for the Bercy-IMT Innovation Award at Bercy (Ministry for the Economy and Finance), on November 26, 2019.
These start-ups, including Affluences, AiiNTENSE, DeNoize, Hiboo, Imope/U.R.B.S, Meyko, PacketAI, Unéole, WaryMe and WATIZ, will be presented on Institut Mines-Télécom’s stand in Las Vegas.
IMT’s presence at CES 2020 aims to promote and accelerate the international development of the start-ups incubated by IMT schools: IMT Atlantique, IMT Lille Douai, IMT Mines Albi, IMT Mines Alès, Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, Mines Saint-Etienne, Télécom Paris and Télécom SudParis.
The winners of the Bercy-IMT Innovation Awards will be revealed in Las Vegas at the “Convergences” evening, on January 7, 2020. Attendees will include Agnès Pannier-Runacher, State Secretary to the Minister for the Economy and Finance, Odile Gauthier, Executive Director of IMT, and members of the French innovation ecosystem. The winners will also be awarded €50,000.
The Award process is divided into 3 phases:
- In May 2019, 42 start-ups from the IMT network of 11 incubators were selected to take part in the Vivatechnology show, based on the criteria of maturity and growth, as well as their technical and managerial quality.
- On November 26, 2019, twenty of the 42 start-ups were selected to present pitches to members of the Bercy-IMT Innovation Award jury for selection as one of the 10 finalists invited to CES.
- In January 2020, the 10 start-up finalists benefit from an international boost to their development by participating in CES 2020 in Las Vegas on the IMT
The Bercy-IMT Innovation Award highlights the support provided by the Ministry for the Economy and Finance (IMT’s supervisory authority) and Fondation Mines-Télécom for entrepreneurial challenges in France and abroad.
