Fondation Mines-Télécom provides the resources needed for developing IMT’s influence and that of its engineering and management graduate schools: IMT Atlantique, IMT Lille Douai, IMT Mines Alès, IMT Mines Albi, Mines Saint-Etienne, Télécom Paris, Télécom SudParis and Institut Mines-Télécom Business School.
Fondation Mines-Télécom involves a dozen partner programs, including 3 founders, 60 corporate partners, and support from over 1,800 individual donors, alumni and parents of students.
It originated from the transformation of the Fondation Télécom, established in 2008 and recognized as a nonprofit organization since 2012.

The contributions of our partner companies play a significant role in providing long-term support that allows us to devise and produce methods and applications for solving cybersecurity issues and together reflect on major technological and societal challenges.
For me, this grant provides an opportunity to get access to resources I could never have benefited from before. It has offered me two years living in university housing, thus avoiding a 3-hour daily commute, and the opportunity to travel abroad for my 4th-year internship to Canada or the United States!
I had this idea of flying drones using mobile networks to overcome problems with radio ranges. The incubator at Télécom & Management SudParis hosted and coached us and now Uavia is officially a company.
